The Horder Centre, a long-standing client of Cobb PR, saw the opening of its newest facility this week. Sally Gunnell, former Olympic gold medallist and one of twelve 2012 Olympic Ambassadors was there to do the honours.
The state-of-the-art physiotherapy gym is equipped with the latest in fitness apparatus and will enable The Horder Centre to offer physiotherapy and integrated rehabilitation programmes.
Sally Gunnell regarded the Crowborough facility as “remarkable”, saying physiotherapy helped to keep her career on track. She revealed that it was “wonderful” to be there to share the Horder Centre’s vision. She added:
“It really is a superb gym and offers wide access to leading physiotherapy techniques and sports injury treatments at The Horder Centre, all under one roof. Certainly within sport, injury prevention is essential and I am jealous that I did not have access to a facility like this in my time.”
The Horder Centre is a vibrant hospital which is known for its brilliance in delivering orthopaedic care. The facility will also provide Yoga and Pilates classes and additional classes that cater to those with lower back pain.
The gym comes as part of a multi-million redevelopment at The Horder Centre, which has also been praised by the Prime Minister David Cameron as a UK centre of excellence for orthopaedic care with superb outcomes.
We were delighted to be there supporting The Horder Centre on what was a very exciting and landmark occasion.
