The Queens representative in East Sussex, Lord Lieutenant Peter Field (pictured right with Tim Cobb), gave the Brighton business community a great insight into his workload in the Diamond Jubilee year.
He told the 40-strong audience at the Brighton & Hove Business Lunch Club about his work to support charities, community groups and local companies.
The business club was also delighted to welcome Brighton & Hove City Council leader Jason Kitcat, who joined us for his first speaking engagement as the new leader.
The business club meets on the third Friday of each month and is open to owners/directors of companies with a turnover of £2m+ or 10+ staff.
Its sister club, the Crawley & Gatwick Business Lunch Club, meets on the first Friday of the month.
