Brighton & Hove lunch club members enjoyed a close look at life within an independent girls school thanks to Roedean School.
Roedean’s Finance Director Richard Poffley invited the lunch club to have its February meeting at the renowned school, the first time the club has been privileged to hold an event within a school.
More than 40 members were treated to a superb lunch and a talk by a group of pupils on how they are working with the local business community. The meeting finished with a tour of the school.
Lunch club founder member Tim Cobb said: “It was a great opportunity to see how the independent sector operates and to gain a valuable insight into this highly respected and fascinating local business. It was inspiring to hear from the pupils how they are reaching out to the local business community for guidance and inspiration as they prepare to start their careers.”
