Cobb PR is working with Source BMX, the Hastings BMX bike suppliers, to promote their ten year anniversary event which is taking place at the De La Warr Pavilion this weekend on Sunday 5th May.
The guys at Source are returning to their hometown for this one day spectacular which promises activities and entertainment ranging from the daring to the exceptionally daring. These include live stunts and commentary from professional riders, a DJ, BMX lessons from the pros’, face painting, screening of cult films in the theatre space and lots of competitions and give-aways. For those who fancy a bit of culture there is a complementary art exhibition running alongside the event in the gallery space.
The De La Warr Pavilion is famous for its modernist architecture- concrete curves, steel railings and flat planes echo the urban environment loved by BMX riders and make the building an ideal stage for this event which will be happening both inside and out.
If you fancy something more exciting than a Sunday morning stroll this weekend, feel free to come and join the fun. This is a family friendly event, there is no entry fee and the De La Warr is open all day.
The company was started by brothers Marc and Rich Moore, down a side street in Bexhill and has since grown to become an international supplier of BMX bikes and parts. Though the brothers supply all over the world, they have not forgotten their roots and invest locally by supporting young BMXers and riding in the Bexhill and Hastings area. The proceeds from merchandise sold at the event on Sunday will be donated to Phase two of Hastings Skate Park and to the purchase of a lease for some bike jumps in Sidley.
