The Managing Director of Sussex based PR and marketing agency Cobb PR has been invited to be a judge at the 2014 Chartered Institute of Public Relations Excellence Awards.
Tim Cobb has been chosen following a successful 2013, when Cobb PR picked up its own crop of four national and regional awards.
Tim said: “It is a great honour to be part of the 2014 CIPR Excellence Awards this year. These awards are the most respected accolade in the industry and I’m as excited about judging as the applicants are about winning.”
The selection process is spread over a number of days. Tim will review dozens of entries before deciding on a shortlist.
The next stage involves 20 minute interviews where each of the contestants is quizzed on their achievements in front of a panel of experts. This part of the competition, which filters the shortlist to a final six, marks the CIPR awards from others in the industry by giving judges the chance to meet applicants in person.
The final winners will be announced at a ceremony and awards dinner in June.
